I’m looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support my brand! I’m a world-renowned children's entertainer, children’s book author, and founder of a nonprofit organization focused on ocean conservation. My story has been featured in Inside Edition, The Sun, and other major outlets, and now we’re preparing for a national book launch and media tour. This role will focus on pitching media outlets, coordinating press outreach, and managing follow-ups. If you're organized, love storytelling, and want to help share a meaningful mission with the world, I’d love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: Research and compile a list of targeted media outlets, journalists, blogs, and podcasts Send out personalized email pitches (templates provided) and track responses Manage follow-up timelines and maintain a contact spreadsheet Coordinate interviews, press appearances, and asset sharing Support additional admin tasks related to PR, partnerships, or event outreach Ideal Candidate: Excellent written communication skills (bonus if you love a bit of sparkle ✨) Detail-oriented and self-motivated Familiar with Gmail, Google Sheets, and Canva Experience with media, PR, or influencer/author outreach a big plus Passion for storytelling, ocean conservation, and/or children’s literature is a bonus.
