Build an Internal Modern Web Application and Database Based on an Existing Excel Tool
We are a commercial electrical contracting company. We currently have a moderately complex Excel spreadsheet that we use for bidding work. We take an external estimate, punch it in, manipulate a bunch of variables, and it spits out some subtotals and a final number. We would like to mature and improve the application. Web app and database so it's able to be accessible and unmodifiable. Database so we can capture snapshots, milestones, and reporting, as well as maintain a source of truth for labor and other rates. It's an internal tool and should use Microsoft's Entra ID for authentication. Depending on practical scope, the initial project or future scope would include connectivity via API to some of our other standard SaaS applications.
