We are looking for a skilled front-end developer to fine-tune a 6-page website built with Next.js, Daisy UI, and Tailwind CSS. The ideal candidate will have experience in enhancing user interfaces and ensuring responsive design across all devices. Your expertise will help us improve aesthetics, usability, maintainability, and overall site performance. The site is almost fully built, so we just need a candidate who can help us bring it to completion. Project Goals: 1. Design Objective: Create a clean, modern UI with a strong emphasis on usability and intuitive navigation 2. Content Strategy: Avoid overwhelming visitors with excessive content. Instead, prioritize clarity and effective presentation of key information 3. UI Kit: Use DaisyUI to streamline the design and development process and ensure alignment with the project’s priorities: improved performance, SEO optimization, and minimal JavaScript usage. Project Scope: Responsive Design Adjustments (Tablet & Mobile) 1. Ensure all pages mirror the Figma design and are fully responsive on tablet and mobile. 2. Pixel-perfect alignment with Figma is not required—focus on consistency in spacing, font sizing, and layout behavior across viewports. Codebase Maintainability Improvements 1. Enhance the implementation of Tailwind CSS and DaisyUI for clarity and consistency: 2. Align custom pixel values with Tailwind utility classes where possible and maintain consistency. 3. Utilize themes and CSS variables for consistent colors, padding, and spacing. 4. Refactor redundant code into reusable components where applicable. Semantic HTML & Accessibility 1. Improve semantic structure for better accessibility and SEO. 2. Ensure proper use of headings, landmarks, alt text, and ARIA attributes where necessary. Performance Enhancements / Maximize Lighthouse Scores 1. Optimize large assets, with a focus on improving loading performance of hero images and other high-impact visuals.
