We want a sexy template that can be used for email and/or SMS. We would then attach our current PDF template to the email/SMS if the customer wanted to download a detailed version of the report. With the above understanding in mind, we'll need the following: For email, we need an html template so that we can render the report summary/overview directly within the email. We can use a tool like https://www.litmus.com/ to test the template, and make sure it looks right across all popular email clients. The detailed PDF report will be attached to the email. For SMS, we'll send a message with a link to a webpage which hosts the inspection summary/overview. We'll need an html template for this page. It can be similar to the email template, but we'll need a button to download the detailed PDF report. Once we have templates we're happy with, I can get one of our developers to wire it up to Salesforce, and make it functional. Attached you will see the ugly report that our customers get. We want to turn this into a 'health report' that is easier to read and creates an active response from our customer on how they can better maintaine their system.
