Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Laravel Backend Developer to join our team as a freelance expert. You'll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and scaling backend systems for multiple SaaS applications while providing ongoing technical support and architecture guidance. Key Responsibilities Development & Architecture Design and develop robust, scalable backend solutions using Laravel framework Build and maintain APIs for multiple SaaS applications Implement best practices for code quality, security, and performance optimization Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless integration SaaS Application Support Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing Laravel applications Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across multiple projects Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers when needed Optimize database queries and application performance System Integration & Maintenance Integrate third-party services and APIs Implement automated testing and deployment processes Monitor application performance and implement improvements Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards Required Qualifications Technical Expertise 5+ years of professional experience with Laravel framework 3+ years of experience building and maintaining SaaS applications Strong proficiency in PHP 8+, MySQL, and RESTful API development Experience with Laravel ecosystem tools (Eloquent, Artisan, Queue, etc.) Solid understanding of MVC architecture and design patterns SaaS & Backend Experience Proven track record of working on multiple SaaS projects simultaneously Experience with subscription-based application architectures Knowledge of multi-tenancy patterns and implementation Familiarity with payment processing integrations (Stripe, PayPal, etc.) Understanding of application scaling and performance optimization General Skills Experience with version control systems (Git) Knowledge of server management and deployment (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.) Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration Preferred Qualifications (Big Plus!)
