Role Overview: As a Podcast Outreach Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in the success of our clients’ campaigns. You’ll be responsible for identifying the right podcasts, crafting compelling pitches, and managing the outreach process from start to booking. You’ll collaborate with clients to align on targeting and hand over booked engagements to our account managers for coordination. Responsibilities: Podcast Research & Targeting: Research and curate a list of ~100 podcasts per client, based on their niche, audience alignment, and goals. Evaluate shows for relevance, guest format, and quality of past interviews. Collaborate with clients and internal team to finalize the outreach list. Personalized Outreach & Pitching: Develop tailored, compelling pitch emails for each podcast. Customize outreach based on podcast themes, tone, and previous guest formats. Maintain detailed outreach records in CRM or tracking system. Client Alignment & Communication: Incorporate client feedback on podcast selection and pitch messaging. Adjust strategy and outreach efforts as needed based on client input and results. Booking Handover: Once a podcast interview is scheduled, smoothly transition the engagement to the Account Manager. Ensure the client and podcast host have all necessary information for a successful conversation. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in outreach, communications, PR, podcast booking, or influencer marketing. Strong writing skills and ability to craft engaging, customized pitches. Deep familiarity with the podcasting ecosystem across various industries. Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple campaigns. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bonus: Experience using podcast databases like Listen Notes, Podchaser, or Hunter.io.
