Django & Next.js Developer for Healthcare Platform

We are looking for an experienced full-stack engineer to help enhance and maintain our healthcare platform. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in building secure, scalable, and HIPAA-compliant applications, with expertise in both backend (Python / Django) and frontend (Next.js). You will work closely with our engineering team to develop new features, improve performance, and ensure seamless integration between the frontend and backend. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain backend services using Django & Django REST Framework • Implement responsive and high-performance UIs using Next.js, React, and TailwindCSS • Optimize API performance and database queries for efficiency • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, GDPR) • Integrate third-party APIs (e.g., EHR, Twilio, SendGrid) • Work with AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS • Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to improve UX/UI • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code Requirements: • 3+ years of experience with Django & Django REST Framework • 3+ years of experience with Next.js and React • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB • Experience with authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth, SSO, Firebase Auth, etc.) • Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines • Experience with unit testing and debugging • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently Bonus Skills: • Prior experience with healthcare or telemedicine applications • Knowledge of GraphQL and WebSockets • Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Firebase Functions) Looking forward to working with you!
