About the Role: We’re looking for a creative video designer and visual storyteller who is fluent in Spanish and English, who understands what drives attention, clicks, and conversions in today’s fast-moving digital landscape. Your core focus will be on shaping the creative direction of video ads — from initial concept ideation to storyboarding scenes for UGC-style content, AI avatar videos, and real influencer shoots. This role blends creative direction, trend fluency, and visual planning. You’ll help build assets that are not only visually engaging but strategically designed to perform on platforms like Meta, TikTok and YouTube and instant messaging platforms. What You’ll Be Doing: 1. Develop scroll-stopping video concepts based on marketing briefs, audience psychology, and platform-specific hooks (e.g., greed, FOMO, urgency). 2. Storyboard UGC and paid ad creatives, planning visual flow, framing, and scene beats in support of hook–body–CTA copy structures. 3. Stay on top of Spanish speaking countries' evolving content meta — from slang and humor to local trends, memes, and tone-of-voice that drives trust and engagement. 4. Suggest new content formats, angles, or editing styles based on trending TikToks, Reels, and viral ad structures. 5. Collaborate directly with UGC creators and influencers, helping vet candidates, communicate scene direction, and provide clear shot lists and creative guidance. 6. Work alongside creative strategists and performance teams to align concepts with KPIs and platform goals. 7. Create visual mockups or style boards using tools like Figma, Photoshop, Canva, or After Effects. 7. Assist with editing briefs, visual cues, and rhythm pacing for post-production or AI avatar assembly. Ideal Candidate Has: 1. 2–5 years in creative video or visual storytelling roles, preferably in digital marketing or social ad campaigns. 2. Proven experience with UGC or short-form ads, especially for direct response brands. 3. Strong visual skills in storyboarding, scripting, and translating marketing goals into scenes. 4. Deep awareness of Spanish speaking countries' digital culture — including humor, slang, tropes, and cultural cues that connect with local audiences. 5. Up-to-date knowledge of current social “meta” and content formats trending in those Spanish speaking countries across TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts and instant messaging platforms. 6. Ability to communicate directly with creators, give direction, and manage basic back-and-forth for hiring, feedback, or production coordination. 7. Experience with tools like Photoshop, Canva, Premiere, CapCut, Figma, or other design/editing platforms. 8. Fluency in Spanish with solid written comprehension in English to understand briefs and collaborate with international teams. Bonus Points If You Have: 1. Experience using or directing content in tools like HeyGen, Pika, Runway, Descript, or similar AI video platforms. 2. Familiarity with the lottery, gaming, or betting space (or performance-heavy campaigns). 2. Video editing or animation experience for prototyping scene movement and/or post production collaboration. 3. Strong sense of voiceover pacing, subtitling, and layout placement for short ads.
