Hi! I'm the founder of Purpose & Hope, a small but passionate business that makes handcrafted, nutrient-rich soups to support people on their health and healing journeys. Inspired by my mom’s experience with cancer, this work is personal and rooted in care, nutrition, and community. We’re looking for a part-time, remote Outreach & Sales Specialist to help us connect with wellness professionals, community organizations, and other aligned partners—especially those serving people dealing with illness or care taking. Your role will be to generate leads, reach out (email/call), build relationships, and help grow our customer base in the East Bay area. This is a remote role, but we’re focusing on that geographic region. Key Responsibilities: Research and build a list of potential referral partners and leads Effectively reach out via email and phone to introduce Purpose & Hope and share our offerings Build relationships with wellness providers, caregiver groups, and aligned communities Track outreach, follow-ups, and responses in a simple system (e.g., spreadsheet or CRM) Share feedback and suggest ideas to help grow our reach and impact Ideal Candidate: Experience in outreach, sales, or business development (especially in wellness, food, or mission-driven work) Excellent communicator—warm, clear, and confident Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently Passionate about natural health, good food, and social impact Comfortable making cold calls and starting conversations from scratch Familiarity with the East Bay wellness/health space is a plus Project Type: Freelance / Contract Part-time (approximately 5 hours a week) Fully remote (East Bay focus, but no in-person meetings required) Why This Matters: This isn’t just another sales job.
