We don’t have a formal prototype like Figma or a low-code version right now—our entire workflow and system have been built directly into Housecall Pro. However, Housecall Pro doesn’t give us enough space or freedom to customize the tedious details we care about—like requiring customers to fill out everything before they can book. Plus, it’s saturated with features we don’t even need. That’s why we’re creating a streamlined system that fully supports our unique workflow. Our overall goal is to create a streamlined, tech-driven service system that eliminates the outdated contractor model and puts the customer first. We’re pioneering the first fully streamlined mini split installation company—no on-site estimates, fixed transparent pricing, and installs that are faster and easier than anything else in the market. Here’s what success in this first build looks like for us: • A functional MVP that replicates our existing booking flow • Online booking → automated confirmations → we show up and do the install • A simple, clean, and fast system—no bloated features • Focused entirely on the key workflows: booking, job scheduling, tracking jobs, and payment collection • No on-site visits, no estimates—just a transparent, modern service model It’s important to note that this system is already fully functional and proven—we’re actively operating in this streamlined manner and delivering a truly modern installation experience. We simply need to package and brand our own software so we can maintain and customize its features, free from the limitations of existing platforms. Key technical notes: • No current Figma or wireframe prototype—our current process in Housecall Pro is our living system, and we know exactly what we need to replicate and where we need to improve. • We’d like payment integrations (Stripe or Square). • CRM integration (like HubSpot) could come later, but isn’t needed right now. • No GPS tracking needed. • The priority is a fully automated, clean process.
