Creative Director (Social Media Content) – Kids Events & Entertainment Brand Company: Blast Entertainment — Auckland’s largest Bouncy Castle provider — is part of a portfolio of businesses owned by Britomart Quay Partners (BQP). In the past year, Blast has acquired most of its local competitors (Bounce Party, Neverland Castles, and The Fun Team). As a result, we’ve turned off our Google Ads — without any drop in bookings — since we now dominate branded search traffic. With the savings from ads, we’re reinvesting in creative, content-led growth. The Opportunity: We’re looking for a Creative Director to help bring our brand to life through engaging, story-driven content such as: Instagram Reels YouTube Shorts Facebook Videos Discovery/awareness ad creatives Your primary role will be to ideate, storyboard, and plan content — not to film it. Once you’ve created the direction, our local videographers and content team will handle production. Responsibilities: Develop short-form content ideas tailored to platforms (Reels, Shorts, FB) Create visual or written storyboards for shoots Suggest fun, fast-paced concepts that align with the brand Brainstorm content that builds brand affinity and encourages sharing Provide direction for paid social creatives (Meta, TikTok) Collaborate with our team on seasonal or campaign themes (e.g. school holidays)
