Position Overview: We’re looking for a dynamic, tech-savvy Community Manager & Tech Specialist who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves building digital systems, and knows how to engage and grow a vibrant online and offline community. This is a hybrid role combining the soft skills of a community builder with the technical know-how of a systems wizard. Key Responsibilities: Community Management (50%) Manage and grow the Gurl Mobb community across platforms (Instagram, Broadcast Channels, Discord, Facebook Groups, etc.) Develop and execute engagement strategies: challenges, lives, polls, meetups, DM outreach Moderate community spaces and ensure a safe, high-energy environment Respond to comments, questions, and DMs in Gurl Mobb’s brand voice Plan and execute small-scale virtual and IRL activations Send and schedule emails, newsletters, and pre-planned content drops across platforms Post and schedule social media content according to the marketing calendar Track and deliver retention reports with insights and action steps Create weekly community recaps, reports, and vibe checks Tech & Systems (50%) Build and maintain community tech systems: email automations, Zapier workflows, Notion dashboards, CRM tools Maintain event pages, landing pages, and community platforms (e.g., Kajabi, Mighty Networks, Circle, or similar) Support with webinar and live event tech setup (Zoom, StreamYard, OBS, etc.) Troubleshoot technical issues across platforms and tools Analyze community data and help optimize growth and retention You’re a Fit If You... Love people and are obsessed with building community and culture Are organized and can manage multiple moving parts at once Are proficient in tools like Zapier, Airtable, Notion, Meta Suite, Canva, and email platforms Know how to make a system look good and function even better Have a strong eye for design, brand tone, and user experience Are comfortable on camera and can hype up a room (virtually or in-person) Take initiative, bring ideas to the table, and execute with excellence Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years in community management or digital tech support Experience working in women’s networks, membership programs, or events Tech certifications or relevant coursework is a plus Ability to travel 2–3 times a year for Gurl Mobb events
