Digital Account Manager – Local SEO, PPC & CRO (remote)


Full-Time | Permanent | UK Working Hours (9am–5.30pm GMT) Availability to work UK hours (9am–5.30pm GMT), Monday to Friday, on a full-time basis. We’re looking for a proactive, knowledgeable, and confident Remote Account Manager to join our team full-time. You’ll be responsible for managing and developing strong, long-term relationships with around 20 clients per month – guiding them to get the very best results from their SEO and PPC campaigns. This is a permanent role, not freelance or contract-based. We’re looking for someone who wants to become part of our team and grow with us – just as we’ll commit to supporting and developing you. ________________________________________ About the Role: As a key part of our close-knit team, you’ll be responsible for the client experience from the moment their website goes live. You’ll manage ongoing communication, offer proactive advice, ensure timely updates, and work closely with our SEO and development teams to deliver real results. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Manage a portfolio of around 20 clients, each receiving a scheduled monthly phone or Teams call to review performance, discuss strategy, and plan next steps. • Use your SEO and PPC expertise to provide insights, suggestions, and recommendations tailored to each client’s goals. • Understand CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) and UX (User Experience) to help ensure traffic is converting into leads. • Collect website amendment requests from clients and ensure they are clearly communicated and actioned efficiently. • Take a proactive approach – spotting potential improvements before the client requests them. • Be confident in challenging client suggestions when needed, offering clear, expert advice to guide them toward the best outcomes. • Liaise closely with our SEO and development teams to ensure strategies are aligned, realistic, and effectively implemented. • Represent the Make Me Local brand with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail in every interaction. • Follow our ‘phone first, email second’ approach, prioritising high-quality, personal communication. ________________________________________ What You’ll Need: • Fluent English (native-level preferred) – both written and spoken – with perfect grammar and the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively. • A strong, practical understanding of SEO and PPC, with the ability to apply it to real-world campaigns. • A proactive, detail-oriented, and organised approach to managing multiple client relationships and tasks. • Confidence and diplomacy when speaking with clients – able to manage expectations and build trust through expert, honest advice. • Availability to work UK hours (9am–5.30pm GMT), Monday to Friday, on a full-time basis. ________________________________________ What This Role Is Not: • This is not a sales role – there are no sales targets. • It’s a role focused on client service, digital strategy, and results – building genuine partnerships that make a difference.
