Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Real Estate Paralegal to assist with complex real estate transactions across multiple states. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting attorneys with contract review, lease agreement drafting, legal compliance, and deal evaluation. This position requires a strong understanding of real estate law and the ability to manage documentation and legal processes for deals in various jurisdictions. This is a remote position. Key Responsibilities: Draft and review real estate documents, including purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, letters of intent, and amendments. Work closely to review and redline contracts for legal risks, accuracy, and compliance. Assist in drafting new contracts tailored to specific property transactions or business needs. Conduct legal research and maintain knowledge of real estate laws in multiple states. Review and summarize real estate deal terms, title reports, surveys, zoning regulations, and due diligence materials. Coordinate with stakeholders (attorneys, brokers, title companies, and landlords) to manage end-to-end deal processes. Assist in maintaining and organizing legal files, lease abstracts, and databases. Track deadlines and key dates for closings, lease renewals, and other legal obligations. Prepare closing checklists and assist in the preparation of closing binders and documentation. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations. Required Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree; Paralegal certificate strongly preferred. 3+ years of experience as a real estate paralegal, preferably with multi-state exposure. Solid understanding of contract law, commercial and residential leases, and real estate transaction workflows. Excellent legal writing, editing, and research skills. Familiarity with title, survey, escrow, and due diligence processes. Ability to manage multiple real estate deals simultaneously under deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal practice management tools. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on deals across multiple U.S. states. Prior experience supporting in-house legal departments or real estate firms. Familiarity with e-signature platforms (e.g., DocuSign) and contract management systems.
