Experienced Paralegal – Landlord-Tenant, Contractor Claims & Judgments (Fulton County, GA)

We are seeking an experienced and highly efficient paralegal to support a fast-paced property management operation handling multiple rental units in Fulton County, Georgia. This role requires someone who is deeply familiar with Georgia landlord-tenant law and capable of delivering quick, accurate filings for a range of civil matters. Scope of Work: Prepare and file civil suits against former tenants for: Property damage Unauthorized holdovers Unpaid rent or utility balances Lease violations Draft and file claims against contractors for breach of contract (e.g., failure to perform or fraudulent work) File and track garnishments and other recovery efforts for judgments already secured Assist with formal responses to housing authorities (e.g., AHA) where interference or misrepresentations have delayed eviction or caused financial harm Draft legal correspondence and support evidence documentation for court filings Keep all matters organized and proactively track deadlines, court dates, and payment schedules Must-Have Qualifications: Paralegal or legal assistant experience in Georgia, with a strong preference for those familiar with Fulton County Magistrate Court Demonstrated experience with landlord-tenant law, particularly holdovers and property damage claims Ability to independently draft complaints, responses, and garnishment filings Working knowledge of legal remedies to enforce judgments Reliable, communicative, and able to turn around time-sensitive tasks quickly Comfortable working with evidence such as photos, invoices, lease agreements, and email records Preferred but not required: Familiarity with housing assistance programs such as the Atlanta Housing Authority (AHA) and Section 8 HAP contracts Experience managing multiple landlord cases at once Ability to coordinate with process servers and navigate civil e-filing platforms Who You’ll Be Supporting: You’ll work directly with an experienced Atlanta-based landlord who owns multiple residential properties and needs a legal partner who can keep up with enforcement demands. Efficiency, clarity, and results matter here. Budget: We are seeking cost-effective assistance on a per-case or bundled basis, with the potential for ongoing work.
