Crew Call for 'HBD, i hope ur nightmares come tru', a comedy short film about a 20-something year old desperate to present a high-concept birthday gift to his stressed out roommate. [GAFFER] Seeking a gaffer with short film production experience who can comfortably operate lighting equipment, set up lights & C-stands for every scene, and has knowledge on lighting design. Providing own equipment is not required but encouraged. Experience with LED Lighting kits preferred. Experience with HMI, Tungsten, Fluorescent also welcomed. This is a non-union, independent low-budget short to be shot in the Seattle-area July 2025. Two day weekend/overnight shoot (Sat-Sun). Must be available for 1~2 meetings with Director/DP to discuss lighting plan prior to shoot. Director Bio: Deams Fitzgerald is a filmmaker/photographer based in Washington (state). Since graduating from NYU with a BFA in Film/TV Production, he now produces visual content for his website, 046VSN, and helps clients in many industries with videography and editing services.
