We're in the process of closing nearly $12M in pipeline, and you would be an instrumental communications leader throughout this process. ## The Opportunity We’re seeking a Director of Communications specializing in PR & Earned Media to develop and execute strategic media relations and thought leadership initiatives for our portfolio of high-ticket B2B tech clients. You will drive brand authority by securing high-impact media coverage, building relationships with key journalists and influencers, and amplifying client stories in the marketplace. This is a strategic, client-facing role for a communications expert passionate about PR, reputation management, and earned media results. ## What You’ll Do • Develop and implement comprehensive PR and earned media strategies aligned with client business goals • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, analysts, and industry influencers to secure high-value media coverage and speaking opportunities • Craft press releases, bylined articles, executive interviews, and other media-facing content • Leverage AI tools (OpenAI, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, n8n, Make, Zapier) to enhance media monitoring, outreach, and campaign automation • Manage crisis communications and reputation management as needed • Collaborate with marketing, content, and sales teams to ensure consistent, compelling messaging across all channels • Measure and report on PR and earned media impact, adjusting strategies for continuous improvement • Mentor internal teams and client spokespeople on effective media engagement and public relations best practices ## What You Bring • 5+ years experience in PR, earned media, or communications leadership roles, preferably within B2B tech, SaaS, or IT services • Proven success securing top-tier media coverage, building thought leadership, and managing reputation • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with ability to craft clear, persuasive narratives for media audiences • Advanced proficiency with AI-driven communications, media monitoring, and PR tools • Excellent media relations skills and a robust network of industry contacts preferred • High energy, high intelligence, high integrity, and a passion for service and results • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, comfortable with client-facing roles ## How We Work • Remote-first: Work from anywhere (US time zones preferred) • Fractional Engagement: Flexible, per-client basis with compensation scaled to results delivered • Performance-Driven: Bonuses tied to client growth and impact • Growth Path: Opportunity to lead client “pods,” become a partner, and share in firm equity as you deliver results ## Application Process 1.
