We're in the process of closing nearly $12M in pipeline, and you would be an instrumental financial leader throughout this process. ## The Opportunity We’re seeking a Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership and operational excellence for our portfolio of high-growth B2B tech clients. You will oversee financial planning, risk management, capital strategy, and compliance, ensuring each client’s financial foundation supports sustainable growth. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a proven finance leader who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments. ## What You’ll Do • Strategic Financial Leadership: Guide business growth and sustainability with high-level financial strategy, planning, and decision support. • Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and manage financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and KPIs that align with organizational and client goals. • Risk Management & Compliance: Implement robust financial controls, ensure regulatory compliance (including HIPAA, GDPR, FTC, etc.), and proactively manage financial risks. • Capital Strategy & Fundraising: Advise on potential capital raising initiatives, support M&A due diligence, and on investor relations and negotiations. • Systems & Process Optimization: Oversee implementation and optimization of financial systems, reporting, and internal processes to support scale and efficiency. • Performance & Reporting: Deliver accurate, timely financial analysis, variance reporting, and board-level presentations. • Team Collaboration: Advise, lead, and—when needed—work alongside internal and client teams. Open to managing or bringing your own small team/subcontractors. ## What You Bring • Experience: 7+ years in senior finance leadership roles (CFO, VP Finance, etc.) with direct experience in B2B tech—preferably cybersecurity, cloud/data, AI, or custom software. • Strategic Acumen: Proven ability to drive business growth, optimize capital structure, and support executive decision-making. • Technical Fluency: Expertise in financial modeling, FP&A, systems implementation, and compliance for high-growth tech environments. • Consulting Chops: Strong client-facing consulting experience; able to communicate complex financial strategies with clarity and empathy to executive audiences. • Track Record: Demonstrated success in supporting $1M+ revenue growth, fundraising, and M&A. Case studies required. • Soft Skills: High energy, high intelligence, high integrity.
