Casting Call for 'HBD, i hope ur nightmares come tru', a comedy short film about a 20-something year old desperate to present a high-concept birthday gift to his stressed out roommate. Kylie (mid-20s) A lifelong athlete who currently works in customer service. Although she’s fairly level-headed and finds peace in her daily routines, she’s working a stressful, thankless job that is hurting her soul. She uses archery as an outlet for channeling any darkness in her life, but her work is getting to her more and more. Required Media for submission: Headshot/Photo, Video Reel Audition Requests: Zoom (TBD) This is a non-union, independent low-budget short to be shot in the Seattle-area July 2025. Two day weekend/overnight shoot (Sat-Sun). Must be available for table read and at least one rehearsal before shoot, location/date TBD. Director Bio: Deams Fitzgerald is a filmmaker/photographer based in Washington (state). Since graduating from NYU with a BFA in Film/TV Production, he now produces visual content for his website, 046VSN, and helps clients in many industries with videography and editing services.
