Please Note: These stories will be shared so you must be ok with them being public. You must also be ok with picture being shared as well. They will be shared in a teaching curriculum for high school students. We're seeking individuals from diverse and marginalized communities to share their personal stories in a project highlighting the richness of identities. In your writing piece, please tell a story, and be reflective of who you are! We’re especially interested in stories that explore themes like: Navigating cultural identity and belonging Facing and overcoming societal stereotypes Moments of self-discovery or reclaiming your identity Experiences of resilience in the face of discrimination How your identity has shaped your personal or professional journey As a contracted Personal Storyteller, you'll have the unique opportunity to authentically express your experiences, highlighting 2-3 identity that you hold close to your heart. We are open to ALL identities and are particularly interested in stories from first-generation immigrants, first-generation college graduates, immigrants, Black, Indigenous, Persons of Color, Artist, Activist, and other historically underrepresented groups. We invite you to contribute to this empowering initiative.
