AI + Developer Experience Sales Deck – Slide Design & Layout

Overview: We're building a ~10-slide sales deck aimed at VPs of Engineering to support early-stage sales conversations. The goal is to clearly and persuasively show how AI can augment developer experience (DX) to increase throughput, reduce friction, and deliver real value. Project Goals: * Make an info-rich deck more engaging, and easy for the eye to navigate * Support live presentation but also function if shared standalone * Bring clarity and flow to complex ideas without straying from our brand Audience: * Primarily VPs of Engineering, with occasional exposure to Directors or CTOs. These are technical decision-makers who expect competence, clarity, and credibility. * Sometimes more business people. Tone & Style: * Modern, technical, competent * Must align with our existing brand guidelines and slide style * Should feel like a clearer, more structured version of what we already produce — not a drastic departure * We’ll provide examples of past decks and a style guide * The deck will likely need to be edited over time so I'd like to bias for things that are easy for me to copy and change as needed without it looking completely terrible. Content: * 9 slides in the story currently but could add or remove as we collab. * Designed for live delivery with a verbal talk track but do expect the deck to be circulated to people who won't hear it delivered. * Almost every slide will include some kind of table, diagram, or information. * Designer should help refine layout and visual structure * We’ll collaborate on structure in a working session and provide content drafts Deliverables: * Final deck in PowerPoint or Google Slides (must be portable between platforms) * All visuals should be original or based on free resources (no paid stock assets) * No animation or motion design required Timeline: * Kickoff and working session ASAP * First draft within one week of kickoff * 1–2 rounds of revisions expected Collaboration Style: * We’ll begin with a collaborative working session to align on slide structure * Content will be provided by us shortly after * This is a fast-turn project, but we’re realistic about the limits — quality matters most Future Work Potential: Maybe? We need lots of lots of decks. I don't think most people see the problem with what we normally produce like I do. But maybe we'll turn a light on for people?
