Conversion-Focused Website Designer for Small Family Owned Business

Hi there - We are looking for a BEAST in website design that follows key conversion principles that will drive more visitors to our site and ultimately more customers through our door. Who are we you're probably asking - we're a small owned orthodontic practice with two locations that have seen a decline in the number of customers getting treatment over the last few years. One of the issues is that we hired an "experienced" web agency in 2021 that promised to be conversion-focused and drive more leads, but as is tradition, they fell very short in their promises. But, alas, that's why I'm here right now looking for someone who is actually ruthlessly conversion and results driven. This will be for redesigning our website as a whole. Also, I want the person/s I am working with to be familiar with legends like Dan Kennedy, Frank Kern, Alex Hormozi, Sabri Suby, etc - so, in your proposal, tell me how you're familiar with them and how you see their teachings impact websites. In terms of our company, we have only ever done direct response newsletters to local dentists to generate leads. This is why updating the website will be important to FINALLY get us in the modern digital-first world. Also, as a test to see if you've read this far, put "Michael Jordan is the GOAT" at the top of your proposal when you apply. In terms of this project, I have tried hiring designers on UpWork over the last few weeks only to find out that the number of turns and edits just for the homepage is taking horrendously long, mainly because the designers are just that - designers only; I need someone who is a great designer second and conversion-focused first. This is where you come in! I want to structure this project in a few clear phases: (1) Start with a test design for the homepage only. If we’re aligned and work well together, we’ll move to (2) structuring the site in an SEO-friendly way. If that goes smoothly, we’ll move to (3) designing the rest of the site. And if all of that works out, we’ll consider (4) full development—if you’ve got the skills for it. We’ve got copywriting covered on our end, but it’s a big bonus if you have real SEO experience.
