Social Media Manager for Podcast


We are launching Learn Laws, a weekly podcast focused on legal education. Episodes will be 15 to 60 minutes long. We seek a proactive, creative, and tech-savvy long-term, US-based Social Media Manager to take our podcast to the next level. We have completed our first episode, which is ready for distribution. Your role will be distributing our content across multiple platforms, creating engaging daily shorts using tools like OpusClip, etc, and building a consistent brand presence that resonates with our audience. Our long-term vision is to grow a thriving community around Learn Laws to host legal workshops and elevate our co-host, Andrew Easler, as a recognized voice. We’re looking for someone who can take the bull by the horns. This person would allow us to focus on creating great content. At the same time, you handle the distribution, optimization, growth strategy, and social media management, as well as a dedicated advertising budget for content promotion. We plan to produce evergreen content that remains relevant over time, and we love your critical feedback to improve our podcast and other content. Additionally, we may need your help brainstorming topic ideas that align with our target market’s interests. Bonus points if you’re obsessed with leveraging AI tools to maximize efficiency and momentum—we want to use as many AI-driven solutions as possible to amplify our reach! Our channel handle is @meeteasler, and we are on most social media platforms. Our podcast is titled Learn Laws. Key Responsibilities: -Upload and manage our weekly podcast episodes (15-60 minutes) on platforms Podbean, YouTube, LinkedIn, Truth Social, X, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts, etc -Create daily shorts from podcast episodes using OpusClip (or similar AI tools) for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and X. -Maintain a consistent brand identity across all platforms, including visuals, tone, and messaging. -Add and optimize RSS feeds for podcast distribution. -Implement video SEO best practices (titles, tags, descriptions, thumbnails) to boost discoverability. -Schedule and post content daily, ensuring a steady flow of engagement. -Use AI tools to streamline workflows, analyze performance, and suggest growth strategies. -Provide critical feedback on our podcast and content to help us improve quality and engagement. -Suggest evergreen topic ideas relevant to our target market (legal education enthusiasts, professionals, and learners). -Lay the groundwork for community building through engagement and interaction with our audience. -Report and present analytics to use regularly, and community ways with us to improve content quality, conversions, etc. Skills & Experience: -Proven experience managing social media for podcasts, videos, or similar content-driven projects. -Proficiency with AI tools like OpusClip, Canva, ChatGPT, or others for content creation and optimization. -Strong understanding of video SEO and podcast distribution platforms. -Ability to create visually appealing shorts that align with our brand and hook viewers. -Excellent organizational skills and a proactive, take-charge attitude. -Familiarity with RSS feed setup and management. -Passion for community building and growing an audience organically. -Comfortable providing constructive feedback and brainstorming creative ideas.
