CK Design Agency, LLC is seeking a seasoned graphic designer and illustrator with a proven track record in museum-related work—particularly in creating engaging, educational materials for children. This includes, but is not limited to, illustrated workbooks, activity sheets, and kid-focused product design. In addition to educational content, the ideal candidate will also have experience in promotional design, including: Branded store products Marketing and advertising design for both digital and print campaigns Estimated Workload: Ongoing monthly work: Approximately 80 hours/month Includes 20 hours/month reserved for rush projects (approximately 5 hours per week) Must be available for weekend communication during the proposal finalization phase Location required – please share your current time zone, as this work aligns with Pacific Standard Time (PST) Qualifications: A strong portfolio showcasing kid-friendly and educational designs Demonstrated experience with museum clients—please include a bio that lists the institutions you’ve supported Proven expertise in branded merchandise, marketing, and ad design (digital + print) Excellent communication with a proactive, responsive approach Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to fast-turnaround projects, including potential after-hours and weekend work Comfortable collaborating under direction, with occasional virtual meetings that may include the client (most communication will be handled by CK Design Agency) Willingness to work under contract with CK Design Agency, LLC Timeline: Contract start date: Mid-June Final selection will be made by June 1st—please ensure availability for communication during the final review period To Apply, Please Submit: A well-written bio highlighting your specific experience and listing museum clients by name Links to design samples that showcase kid-focused and promotional work Client testimonials, if available Confirmation of your availability this weekend for communication and proposal review Acknowledgment that rush work may occasionally require availability after hours or on weekends Your hourly rate for standard work (approx. 15 hours per week) and your hourly rush rate (approx. 5 hours per week) We’re looking for a designer who is not only highly creative and innovative, but also organized, communicative, and reliable.
