Brand-Focused Web Designer Needed for Mission-Driven Site Redesign (goodnessgame.com)

$30.00
Hourly: $30.00 - $60.00

We’re looking for a skilled and experienced brand-focused website designer to help us redesign GoodnessGame.com. The goal is to elevate the brand, simplify the message, and inspire action—not just to look pretty. The Goodness Game is a movement that helps people realize that small acts of kindness can make a big impact. We want the new site to feel like a real brand—engaging, professional, and purpose-driven—without being overproduced or full of unnecessary visual clutter. What We’re Looking For: - Strong background in branding and UX-focused web design - Experience building mobile-first designs (desktop second) - Ability to map user flows and guide user behavior through thoughtful layout - Clean, emotionally resonant design (no fluff, no bloat) - Someone who can collaborate closely—we’ll be hands-on in the process Deliverables: - Visual design in PSD (Figma is fine too if preferred) - Designs for homepage + core pages: About, FAQ, How to Play, Download, Contact, etc. - Mobile-first mockups - Sitemap suggestions and funnel/user flow guidance - No development needed (we already have a WordPress developer ready to go) The Site Should: - Tell a compelling story - Encourage people to play the goodness game - Be clean, fun, and focused on kindness, sharing, and action - Support secondary goals like book sales and school/business participation Target Audience: - Parents - Educators & schools - Business owners - People who want to do good—but don’t know where to start Timeline: ASAP — we’re ready to get started and will move quickly with the right person. How to Apply: Please record a short Loom video (2–4 minutes) answering the questions below and include the Loom link in your proposal. Proposals without a Loom will be skipped. In your Loom, please cover: 1. Why are you a great fit for this project? 2. Can you show one example of a brand-focused site you’ve designed that tells a story and inspires action? 3. How would you approach mapping the user flow for a mission-based site like this? 4. What’s your process for balancing simplicity with emotional design? 5. What’s your availability to start and how do you prefer to collaborate with clients? Ready to bring this message to life? Send your proposal + Loom — excited to hear from you.
