We're looking for a fashion designer or production manager to help us create a new capsule collection for our activewear brand https://be-everything.us/, designed to complement and expand our current line. We are a small, values-driven brand focused on soft, understated athletic styles - modern, casual, flattering. Think Pilates girls, young moms, and those seeking softness and quality over bold or trendy. We want to keep that tone in the upcoming collection. What We Need: A creative, organized, and US-based professional who can support us through: - Capsule Development - Fabric sourcing (preferably from non-China suppliers to avoid tariff issues) - Sample production coordination - Production partner search for small batch sewing (future scaling potential) Capsule Collection Outline: Styles & Variants: Joggers (2 colors) Sweatshirt (2 colors) Sports Top – 2 types (2 colors) Leggings (2 colors) Shorts (2 colors) Duffel-style sports bag Details: Sizes: XS to XL Colorways: 2–3 tones per model Season: Fall and Winter Estimated units per model: 50–55 Sales launch: Sept-Oct Concept: Mix & Match (color and piece combinations) Similar brands: Saski Collection Sisterly Tribe Mate the Label Duffel Bag Reference Points: Looking for a blend of sporty, feminine, functional. Our audience prefers stylish but practical items. Examples: Olend – Beautiful colors, but too basic inside RAINS – Great sporty look Calpak – Good shoe compartment, too boxy Beis – Great interior design Brief Workflow Overview (subject for discussion) Stage 1 – Design Moodboard: concept, colors, and fabric direction Sketches: multiple styles, details per colorway Tech Drawings: for production Fabric Sourcing: through video/photo or physical samples. Ordering of those samples. Final pack: ready for sampling Stage 2 – Sample Sewing Prioritization by Winter items - Samples in size M Stage 3 – Pre-Production (2–3 months) Finding manufacturer (outside China) for those samles and future small batch. *could be in US too, if pricing is ok Size grading and pattern making Ordering fabric & trims Sample iterations Stage 4 – Small Batch Production (1–2 months) 350 pieces of clothing 70 bags Target production cost: ~$25 per unit (aiming to optimize) Ones Again Who We’re Looking For: Based in the US Strong in both design and technical production Independent but collaborative Passionate about thoughtful, slow-style fashion Clear communicator – can manage production and remote approvals Please include examples of previous capsule or activewear projects in your application and pricing for the whole project!
