Senior UX Writer - AI Experience & Conversational UI Specialist

An enterprise client is seeking a seasoned Senior UX Writer to craft intuitive, user-focused product copy across a suite of AI-driven experiences. This project will focus on writing and refining in-product content, particularly for AI interactions, with an emphasis on simplicity, clarity, and strategic design alignment. For this project, the selected candidate will: - Write, test, and iterate concise and engaging UI copy for AI tools, including chat-based assistants and smart interactions - Audit existing UX language and establish scalable frameworks to improve consistency, tone, and usability - Collaborate with cross-functional partners (designers, engineers, researchers, and PMs) to craft content that aligns with product strategy and user needs - Contribute to the development and documentation of content systems and style guides - Apply user research, A/B testing, and analytics to evaluate and evolve product language - Mentor junior team members and help define UX writing best practices Ideal candidates will have: - 8+ years of experience in UX writing, preferably in SaaS or product-led environments - Experience writing for AI interactions, chat interfaces, or conversational UI - Familiarity with tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini/Bard, or similar - A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility best practices - Excellent communication and storytelling skills, especially when collaborating with non-writers - A proactive, empathetic, and team-oriented mindset Work will be completed remotely. This is a full-time contract role expected to run for 3–6 months, with potential for extension or conversion. The project kicks off around June 16.
