About Us: We're a growing e-commerce business operating on the Shopify platform with both D2C (direct-to-consumer) and B2B sales channels. We currently use the Brava theme but need dedicated development support to implement customizations, fix existing issues, and help us maintain a high-quality user experience across our stores. What We Need: We're seeking an experienced Shopify developer who can provide ongoing support for our e-commerce operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise with Shopify themes (particularly Brava), Liquid, JavaScript, and responsive design principles. You'll be working directly with our team to tackle a backlog of development tasks and provide continuous support as new needs arise. Primary Responsibilities: - Implement visual and functional customizations to our Shopify theme - Fix existing bugs and layout issues affecting user experience - Support B2B-specific theme customizations and functionality - Manage theme version control to preserve customizations during updates - Provide ongoing technical consultation for Shopify-related questions Immediate Projects Include: - Product Page Layout Bug: Fix content shift issues that occur when scrolling below the Buy Button - Pricing Display Logic: Correct conditional display for MSRP/strike-through pricing between D2C and B2B customers - B2B Post-Login Enhancement: Add customizable "Resources" link to B2B landing page - Homepage Visual Update: Implement full-width hero image while maintaining brand consistency - User Login Display Improvement: Replace "Login" button with user initials after B2B customer signs in Required Skills: - 3+ years of experience with Shopify theme development - Expert knowledge of Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Experience with B2B functionality on Shopify - Strong understanding of responsive design principles - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Clear communication and ability to explain technical concepts Nice-to-Have Skills: - Familiarity with the Brava theme specifically - Experience with Shopify Plus - B2B e-commerce customization experience - Knowledge of performance optimization for e-commerce - Experience with version control (Git preferred) What to Expect: - Most tasks range from 1-3 hours in complexity - Regular communication via your preferred platform - Clear briefs for each task with defined outcomes - Opportunity for long-term ongoing work Application Process: - Share your portfolio with relevant Shopify development examples - Highlight any specific experience with B2B Shopify customizations - Selected candidates will complete a small paid trial assignment - Based on trial results, we'll select one developer for an ongoing contract We're looking forward to finding a reliable development partner who can help us enhance our Shopify presence.
