Website Design Expectations 1. Phased Launch ○ A simple, fast-loading website must be developed and launched quickly to allow us to go live and start outreach. ○ A full-featured website will be developed in parallel without delaying the go-live date. 2. Preferred Tech Stack We require the website to be custom-designed and developed using JavaScript with the React framework, SEO compatibility, and scalability. The use of JS is preferred to enable: ● Server-side rendering (SSR) or Client-Side rendering (CSR) for SEO optimization ● Fast loading speeds and improved user experience ● Clean routing and easy multi-language support ● Flexibility for potential future expansion (e.g., quoting tools, etc.) The final site must be well-documented and editable, and built in a way that other developers and our SEO team can work on it without restriction. 3. CMS-Based Platform ○ The website must be built using a user-friendly CMS, allowing us to independently add content, images, pages, and blog posts. 4. SEO-Ready Code Structure ○ Code must follow SEO best practices and be clean, structured, and editable by our SEO provider. ○ The developer must allow collaboration with the SEO team as needed during development. 5. Deadline Commitment ○ Clear milestones and a final delivery date must be set and strictly honored. ○ Any delay must be communicated early, with a revised timeline and justification. 6. Responsive Design ○ The website must work flawlessly across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices, and all major browsers. 7. Fast Load Time ○ The website should be optimized to meet modern page speed standards, especially on mobile. 8. Basic On-Page SEO Elements ○ Include foundational SEO setup: proper heading hierarchy, meta titles/descriptions, image alt tags, clean URLs. 9. Security ○ The site must include SSL (https://), spam protection (e.g., CAPTCHA on forms), and follow basic security best practices. 10. Multi-Language Readiness ○ The website must be built with multi-language support in mind from the start. Since the site will be custom-coded using JavaScript and React, we expect the developer to implement or prepare the project for internationalization (i18n) using a modern and SEO-compatible library (e.g., next-i18next or similar). ○ Language-specific URLs (such as /en/, /tr/) and correct hreflang tags must be supported for proper SEO indexing. ○ Even if only English is launched initially, the structure should allow easily adding more languages (4+) later without major development work. ○ Language content will be finalized with the SEO/Marketing team’s input. 11. Ownership & Access ● We must retain full ownership and administrative access to: ○ Domain registrar ○ Hosting account ○ CMS login ○ Theme, plugins, and third-party tools 12. All-Inclusive Pricing ● The total price must cover everything discussed in this brief, including: ○ Design ○ Development ○ CMS setup ○ Launch assistance ○ Testing ○ Support period ● There should be no additional charges unless we explicitly agree to out-of-scope work in writing. 13. Post-Launch Support (Included) ● Basic post-launch support (e.g., fixing bugs, layout issues, CMS questions, small edits) must be included at no extra cost for at least 30 days. ● Minor coding adjustments or issues caused by the developer's own work must be fixed without extra billing. ● If the developer plans to charge for any future tasks, they must clearly define what’s considered chargeable upfront. 14. Service Agreement & Payment Terms ● A clear written agreement (or contract) must define: ○ Deliverables ○ Timeline ○ Payment milestones ○ Support terms ○ Ownership transfer ● Final payment should only be made once the project is complete, delivered, and approved.
