We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented WordPress expert to provide ongoing website maintenance, support, and reporting. You'll focus primarily on ensuring the site remains secure, functional, and high-performing, with room to shape the role further depending on your strengths and expertise. You’ll take the lead on setting and maintaining a regular website upkeep schedule while also handling hands-on technical tasks like: ▪️Applying WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates regularly—ensuring the site stays secure and stable ▪️Reviewing and removing unused plugins to reduce clutter and prevent unnecessary fees ▪️Running routine audits to identify and fix bugs, display issues, broken links, and redirect errors ▪️Monitoring and optimizing site speed, uptime, and baseline security ▪️Maintaining and troubleshooting platform integrations and embed codes (e.g., forms, pop-ups, email tools) ▪️Performing regular site backups and handling restorations when necessary ▪️Creating and testing major updates in a staging site (SiteGround) for review and approval before going live ▪️Ensuring adherence to basic on-page SEO best practices, including meta tags, headings, and alt text ▪️You’ll also provide monthly reports that include: → Website analytics (traffic, bounce rate, conversions, etc.) → A summary of completed maintenance, updates, and any notable performance observations In addition to maintenance tasks, you’ll be responsible for updating and adding website content as needed—always with attention to visual consistency and SEO best practices (note: all content will be provided to you). Content updates may include: ▪️Uploading and formatting blog posts ▪️Implementing course content updates or changes (LearnDash) ▪️Applying provided updates to page elements such as images, thumbnails, text, privacy policies, or terms of service You’re a good fit if you: ✔️ Have proven experience maintaining and troubleshooting WordPress websites ✔️ Understand site performance, uptime monitoring, and security best practices ✔️ Are confident working with plugins like GeneratePress, WPForms, Google Analytics, Search Console, and LearnDash ✔️ Value clear, swift communication ✔️ You take initiative promptly when issues arise ✔️ Are detail-oriented, proactive, and consistent with deadlines ✔️ Have the time and capacity to consistently fulfill the responsibilities of this contract Project details: ▪️Ongoing monthly maintenance and support ▪️~8-12 hours/month with flexibility, depending on needs and skill set ▪️$40–$60/hour, based on experience ▪️Must be available for occasional quick-turn troubleshooting ▪️You’ll work closely with a small, mission-driven team supporting a growing brand in the neurodiverse relationships space We’re excited to partner with someone who can keep our website polished, protected, and performing—so we can stay focused on our mission.
