We’re looking for an experienced Wix website designer to bring The Royal Kentuckian to life online. This is a one-location fine dining restaurant based in Independence, Kentucky, opening in October. The site will be built and hosted on the Wix platform. Our in-house team is familiar with making small edits in Wix, but we need an expert to design the initial structure, layout, and look. Project Overview: Our brand blends Southern tradition with regal sophistication — think Kentucky roots, bourbon heritage, horse racing, and famous Kentuckians like Muhammad Ali, Abraham Lincoln, and Loretta Lynn. Design inspiration: Jeff Ruby’s Columbus (refined layout, but without the art deco flair) - https://www.jeffruby.com/columbus Tavern on the Green (elegant and immersive) - https://www.tavernonthegreen.com/ We’ll provide logo files, fonts, color palette (deep blue, gold, black), brand standards, and inspirational imagery. Features Needed: Homepage with embedded video scroll section Menus (Dinner, Brunch, Wine, Cocktails, Bourbon, Dessert) About Us / Brand Story page Contact page Link to reservations via OpenTable Private Dining and Special Events pages Built-in SEO Easy post-launch editability for our internal team (no coding) Bonus: We'd love to explore adding subtle motion elements — like a moving bourbon still, racehorse animation, or reference to the Twin Spires — that elevate the user experience without overpowering the design.
