I’m looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Video Editor to support ongoing content creation for a client in the health and wellness space. You’ll be working closely with me (Creative and Marketing Consultant) to edit short-form and mid-length video content for social platforms, primarily TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn. I’ll provide creative direction, shot notes, and strategy. You’ll bring it to life with clean cuts, thoughtful pacing, subtitles, and a sharp eye for clarity and flow. The focus is on educational and expert-led content that feels polished but approachable. What You’ll Do - Edit short-form and mid-length video content from raw talking head footage, voiceover, or presentations - Add clean subtitles and light motion graphics when needed - Cut longer videos into bite-sized clips for social - Follow brand tone and visual guidelines (provided) - Stay organized with file management and versioning - Collaborate asynchronously with me on feedback and revisions What I’m Looking For - 2 or more years of video editing experience, preferably with content in wellness, coaching, or education - Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual clarity - Experience editing for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and LinkedIn - Proficient in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, or similar - Comfortable with subtitles, light animation, and audio cleanup - Organized, responsive, and comfortable working remotely + Bonus if you have a motion graphics or sound design background Role Details - 3 to 5 hours per week to start - Flexible schedule with async check-ins - US-based preferred - Start date as soon as possible
