Join the Next Ridge Apparel Creative Team Next Ridge Apparel is looking for a freelance graphic designer with real knowledge of the outdoors and the skill to turn ideas into bold, print-ready artwork. If you know how to spot a bull elk from 300 yards and can sketch it with the same level of accuracy, we want to see your work. This is a project-based contract role. You’ll help us bring new apparel drops to life with clean, original graphics that represent hunting, fishing, and rugged outdoor living. We’re not looking for clipart or overused templates. We’re looking for someone who understands the land, the lifestyle, and the details that matter. See more at www.nextridgeapparel.com What You’ll Do Refine concept artwork into print-ready designs for tees, hats, hoodies, and patches Vector and prepare files with accurate color separation for screen printing or embroidery Ensure art is layered correctly, scalable, and clean Maintain brand consistency while elevating creative direction Occasionally create original artwork from scratch based on a concept, animal, or theme Use up-to-date digital design tools and techniques, including AI features when appropriate What You Bring Strong understanding of game animals, wildlife behavior, and outdoor culture Experience designing for apparel, especially screen print and embroidery Expertise in Illustrator or similar vector tools Familiarity with modern design tools and platforms (we sometimes provide base concepts) Solid communication and file management habits A portfolio that shows your ability to create outdoors-inspired artwork Bonus If You: Are able to illustrate original, unique wildlife scenes Have experience in the hunting or outdoor gear industry Are passionate about the outdoors and design from real-life knowledge To Apply Please send: Your portfolio (must include outdoor or wildlife-focused designs) A list of the tools and platforms you use A short note about who you are and why you’re a fit Your hourly or per-project rate Your availability A confirmation that all designs created will be exclusive to Next Ridge Apparel
