We’re a digital media company covering federal technology, and we’re looking for a freelance motion graphic designer to help us create a suite of custom video templates and motion graphics. These will be used across our video content — interviews, explainers, event coverage, social media and more. This is a project-based contract with the opportunity for follow-up work. What You’ll Do: - Design modern, branded motion graphics (title sequences, lower thirds, transitions, logo animations, etc.) - Create easy-to-edit templates in After Effects and/or Premiere Pro - Deliver flexible assets our in-house video editors can use - Align all visuals with our professional, energetic, editorial brand identity What We’re Looking For: - Strong portfolio of motion design work — especially for media, news or marketing-style content - Experience designing templates or packages used by other editors - Proficiency in After Effects + Premiere Pro workflows - Creative, collaborative and detail-oriented To Apply, Please Include: - Link to portfolio or reels with relevant work - Short note on your approach to this type of project - Estimated timeline and rate (hourly or flat project) - Any experience working with editorial, media or marketing teams Bonus if you have: - News/media branding experience - A clean, modern, minimalist design style Looking to kick off this project in the next 2–3 weeks.
