Job Title: Social Media Content Creator & Manager Location: San Francisco Bay Area (must be able to travel to all restaurant locations) Part-Time / Freelance About North Beach Pizza: North Beach Pizza is a beloved local pizzeria with seven locations throughout the Bay Area, including San Francisco, Half Moon Bay, Berkeley, San Mateo, and Daly City. We're known for our authentic, crave-worthy pizza and warm neighborhood feel, but our online presence needs some of that same energy. We’re looking for a creative, reliable Social Media Content Creator & Manager to help bring our brand to life online and drive engagement with fresh, real, and compelling content. This role will be responsible for building a vibrant presence on our existing social platforms and kick off our TikTok strategy. Responsibilities: ● Create original content (photo, video, Stories, Reels, TikToks) at our locations ● Post consistently (at least 2-3x per week) on Instagram/FB and launch our TikTok presence with short-form, fun, trend-aware videos that reflect our authentic, local vibe. ● Visit restaurants regularly (Half Moon Bay, Berkeley, San Mateo, Daly City, and San Francisco) to capture real-life moments, staff highlights, behind-the-scenes action, and the food ● Write engaging, on-brand captions and interact with followers in comments and DMs. ● Grow our following and increase engagement through consistent, relevant content without relying on overused graphics or templates. ● Reference our Marketing Messaging Calendar for upcoming holidays or event opportunities to post about ● Reference our Restaurant Event Schedule to identify big reservations or parties and capture high-energy content when available. ● Maintain a content calendar that includes: ○ Restaurant/store spotlights ○ User-Generated Content campaigns ○ Influencer collabs with local foodies ○ Customer reviews and testimonials ○ Behind-the-scenes content (employee/manager features) ○ Seasonal menus & promotions ○ Instagram Polls, Q&As, and behind-the-scenes looks ● Track and provide a monthly report on performance (reach, engagement, clicks, conversions) and adjust strategy accordingly. ● Manage and optimize paid ad campaigns on: ❖ Meta (Facebook & Instagram) – boost high-performing posts, run local awareness ads, promote menu items and store-specific specials ❖ Nextdoor – promote neighborhood-level offers, new store activity, and community-based engagement ❖ Other local platforms as needed (e.g. Yelp, Google Posts, etc.) ● Ensure all content and paid ads follow our brand guidelines, including tone, colors, and typography, for a consistent and authentic look and feel. You Are: ● A natural storyteller with a phone/camera in hand and an eye for capturing "the good stuff", from cheesy slices to happy customers. ● Experienced in managing brand accounts on Instagram and TikTok (Reels, Stories, and trends are your thing). ● Comfortable filming, editing, and producing short-form video content independently. ● Able to travel between our Bay Area locations regularly. ● Up to date on social trends, TikTok audio, and what makes people stop scrolling. ● Passionate about community, food, and showcasing real moments (not overly filtered content). ● Organized, dependable, and gets things done without needing to be micromanaged. Bonus Points If You: ● Have worked with or pitched to food influencers ● Can shoot and edit content quickly (on iPhone, CapCut, InShot, etc.) ● Love pizza
