Druid Productions is seeking an additional experienced and skilled videographer to cover a major tradeshow/expo at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. This role involves capturing both high-quality b-roll footage and conducting short interviews. Day Rate: $500 (3 Days) = $1500 Event Dates & Times: Dates: Friday, August 23rd, Saturday, August 24th, and Sunday, August 25th, 2024. Approximate Hours: Full-day coverage required each day, roughly 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (final call times to be confirmed). Project Scope: B-Roll Coverage: Capturing the energy, key moments, attendee interactions, exhibitor booths, and overall atmosphere of the expo hall. Interviews: Conducting and recording some short interviews per day with event attendees, exhibitors, or speakers. Interview questions will be provided. Crucially, this requires excellent audio capture. You will be provided with a detailed shot list and interview guidelines. This role involves significant walking and dynamic shooting. Deliverables: -All raw video footage and separate, clean audio recordings from interviews. -Footage to be shot in 4K (3840x2160). -B-Roll Specs: Typically 59.94fps, 10-bit, H.264 or ProRes -Interview Specs: Typically 23.98fps, 10-bit, H.264 or ProRes -Footage and audio will need to be uploaded to our LucidLink filespace at the end of each shoot day or upon completion of the event. We are looking for a videographer who: Has demonstrable experience filming tradeshows, expos, conventions, or similar live events, including conducting on-the-fly interviews. Is proficient in capturing high-quality, engaging b-roll footage AND well-composed interview shots. Owns and operates professional 4K camera equipment AND professional audio recording gear suitable for interviews in a noisy environment (e.g., quality lavalier microphone system and/or a good shotgun microphone). Understands how to achieve clean, clear audio for interviews. Is reliable, professional, and able to work independently following a shot list and interview guidelines. Is local to the Orlando area or able to work as a local (travel/accommodation not provided for this role).
