Fractional Sales Manager Needed for Music PR Firm


**Please read entirely before applying** We’re seeking a highly organized, data-driven Sales Manager to lead with precision, enforce accountability, and elevate the performance of our growing sales team. This is not a training role — we already have a Sales Training Manager in place. Your mission is to ensure daily output, CRM hygiene, and revenue goals are consistently met. You will own the process, hold reps to a high standard, and bring structure to a creative, fast-paced team. Expertise in HubSpot CRM is non-negotiable. Key Responsibilities Performance Management • Monitor daily rep activity (calls, emails, touchpoints) and enforce minimum performance benchmarks. • Review sales pipelines and hold weekly accountability sessions with each rep. • Address underperformance with direct, actionable coaching. • Ensure each rep follows the sales process consistently and closes at expected conversion rates. CRM Oversight (HubSpot) • Own the integrity and optimization of our HubSpot CRM. • Audit workflows, automate lead assignments, and clean data regularly. • Track and report on KPIs including lead velocity, conversion rate, and sales cycle health. Sales Operations • Structure the sales day: morning standups, midday pulse checks, and end-of-day wrap-ups. • Document SOPs and enforce use of scripts, templates, and sequences. • Implement systems for ongoing rep performance tracking and reporting. Strategic Optimization • Run weekly pipeline review meetings with leadership and the training manager. • Identify broken parts of the sales funnel and recommend improvements. • Work with marketing to give feedback on lead quality and sales enablement needs. Key Requirements • 3+ years in Sales Management with a track record of building high-performing teams. • Expert-level HubSpot CRM skills: workflows, sequences, dashboards, reporting. • Clear, confident communication and leadership style — not afraid to make tough calls. • Strong grasp of outbound sales principles and conversion tracking. • Analytical mindset — can translate data into action and results. • Highly organized, punctual, and driven by performance metrics. • Comfortable holding others accountable without micromanaging. Bonus (Not Required) • Experience scaling remote sales teams • Familiarity with tools like CloudTalk, Slack, Loom, and Google Workspace • Understanding of music industry PR, entertainment, or service-based B2B sales What Success Looks Like • Sales reps are hitting 60–70 leads per day, consistently. • CRM is clean, organized, and automated — no lead goes untouched. • Daily sales activity and monthly revenue goals are achieved or exceeded. • Underperformers are quickly coached up — or out. • You work hand-in-hand with the training manager to balance motivation and discipline.
