Project Manager – Financial Systems Engagement

$75.00
Hourly: $75.00 - $150.00

About Us DF Analytics is a boutique consulting firm that helps clients tackle complex strategy, systems, and people challenges using data. We specialize in DEI, M&A, Digital Transformation, and People & Culture work. Our projects combine thoughtful design, operational structure, and tech-enabled insights to create lasting change. The Opportunity We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to help lead and coordinate multiple financial systems projects for one of our clients—a fast-growing financial services firm going through major transformation. This role supports the Chief Administrative Officer and works closely with their finance transformation team. You won’t be building technical solutions, but you’ll be essential to ensuring delivery—managing timelines, surfacing risks, tracking decisions, and keeping communication flowing between stakeholders. You’ll bring structure and clarity to initiatives around automation, reporting, reconciliation, and Workday optimization. What You'll Do You’ll manage project plans and keep multiple workstreams moving forward. You’ll run stand-ups and working sessions, track risks and decisions, and escalate blockers when needed. You’ll help align stakeholders across finance, legal, operations, and technology, and prepare clean updates for leadership. You’ll also support consistency in how the team tracks work, communicates, and reports on progress. Who You Are You’ve got experience managing projects in finance, systems, or consulting environments. You’re organized, proactive, and know how to keep things on track without a lot of hand-holding. You can translate technical progress into executive-level summaries and work across teams with different priorities. You’re familiar with tools like Monday.com, Excel, Power Query, and Workday, and can bring clarity and calm to complex environments. How We Work We’re a structured but flexible team. We value transparency, alignment, and thoughtful execution. Our consultants work remotely and independently but operate within clear workflows. We use Google Workspace, async-friendly schedules, and expect daily standups and check-ins to keep everyone aligned. Occasional travel to NYC or Miami may be required (covered by the client). This is a remote contract role with flexible hours. If you’re a strong communicator, know how to manage cross-functional teams, and can thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth environment, we’d love to hear from you. Attached is a full description of the opportunity. Please only reach out through Upwork as any message outside of this platform may be lost.
