About the Project: We're building an interactive digital experience that integrates 3D models, web-based AR, and real-time content management. This will serve as a working prototype to validate core user flows and visual engagement features in the lifestyle and consumer product space. You’ll be working closely with our founder and UI/UX designer to take this from concept to clickable demo. What You’ll Do (Deliverables): Develop a web-based mobile-friendly prototype that renders interactive 3D content using AR/web technologies Build or connect a lightweight CMS where users can manage and update 3D assets and related content Set up an optimized 3D pipeline (for example, from photogrammetry apps like Polycam to lightweight GLB formats) Implement basic performance tracking (for example, number of model views, time spent, device info) Ensure the experience runs smoothly across modern mobile browsers (iOS and Android) Critical Skills Required: Strong experience with React / Next.js App Router Proficient in Three.js or React Three Fiber for rendering 3D content Familiar with GLB/GLTF model optimization and asset hosting via AWS S3 or equivalent Basic WebAR experience using model-viewer, WebXR, or RealityKit / ARCore Comfort with Firebase or Supabase for lightweight backend and real-time syncing Strong attention to mobile performance (goal: 60 FPS on average smartphones) How We Work: We’re an early-stage team focused on fast iteration and clear outcomes We work async with weekly check-ins (expect one to two Zoom calls per week) You’ll have direct access to the founder for quick feedback and decisions We're open to your ideas — if you see a better solution, bring it forward We prefer clean, documented code to speed up future dev handoff Time and Budget: Commitment: 10 to 15 hours per week Timeline: 4 to 6 weeks (prototype phase) Budget: $15 to $35 per hour OR open to discuss a fixed project rate Bonus available for early delivery or standout performance Must be open to signing a Mutual NDA To Apply, Please Include: Links to previous 3D, AR, or web projects (GitHub, site, or demo preferred) A quick note about your availability and time zone Whether you prefer hourly or fixed pricing Any questions you have about the project
