We are seeking a talented freelancer to design, manage, and optimize our various WordPress sites. While we do set project milestones, most of the work can be done on a flexible schedule. What We’re Looking For - A strong eye for clean, modern user-friendly design. - Deep WordPress experience, with strong front- and back-end capabilities - Proactive problem-solver with a knack for fixing bugs and streamlining performance - Clear and responsive communication style - A current portfolio that reflects elevated visual design and thoughtful UX Responsibilities - Collaborate with our team to ensure design/dev work supports business and UX goals - Design and implement updates to keep sites visually current and on brand - Optimize and maintain site performance, security, and efficiency (minimal plugin reliance) - Troubleshoot and resolve site issues quickly - Maintain ecommerce and membership functionality as needed Requirements - Proficiency with clean and modern web design (including relevant design software) - 10+ years of hands-on, expert-level WordPress development skills. - Strong proficiency with WordPress themes, ACF, Event Tickets Pro, and MemberPress. - Experience with WooCommerce and Stripe integration. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent tools) - Strong grasp of UX principles and responsive design - Solid understanding of site speed and performance best practices - Excellent communication skills. - Bonus, but not mandatory: set up and maintain workflow automations using Zapier and/or Pipedream.
