Network & Systems Review, then Optimization (Furniture Maker)

This is a local Phoenix, Arizona position only. It's important the IT person can visit our facility. This job probably requires both System Admin and Network Admin experience. We need analysis of our network and systems to then create better productivity. We are a manufacturer of luxury wood furniture in North Phoenix, in business 20 years, just under 50 employees. We're using a mix Windows and Mac machines for office and management staff, and iPads on the production floor. We have NextCloud for web based file access, calendar, etc. Our furniture design engineers use a CAD program that runs on SQL. We are not standardized which causes productivity issues. Some use Pages & Numbers, others use Excel and Word. It's forced us to PDF almost everything. We need a proper folder tree, and access to it. Email clients are a mix. There are 5 different PDF tools in use. A variety of different browsers are used. There is no central calendar accessible by everyone. We need to standardize on job/folder naming. And so on. We have several shop floor machines, like CNC's, that use Windows. These too should be analyzed to operate at peak performance. Obviously, training to use the network and any tools is important. We need our network in top shape so we can deploy a manufacturing software (mini ERP) that runs on SQL. This is a local position only. It's important the IT person can visit our company from time to time. As much as we tried, "remote only" support has not worked for us in the past.
