I’m looking for a detail-oriented bookkeeper to help manage the finances for my single-member LLC, which is currently administering a DARPA research grant. You’ll keep the books clean, grant expenses clearly tracked, and reports easy to generate for compliance and tax prep. Key Responsibilities: * Categorize and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks (Online) * Track project/grant expenses and help monitor budget * Prepare monthly financial summaries and grant-specific reports * Maintain audit-ready documentation for grant compliance * Coordinate with my grant administrator Requirements: * Experience with QuickBooks Online * Strong attention to detail and timely communication * Comfort working with small LLCs or startups Nice to Have: * Experience with federal grants or restricted funds * Familiarity with 2 CFR 200 compliance, especially DoD or DARPA * Ability to support or coordinate with tax filings Estimated hours: 3–8 hours/month, flexible Contract type: Hourly, ongoing Please mention your experience with grant-related bookkeeping (if any) and your preferred workflow.
