Looking for a detail-oriented, precise, and energetic virtual / marketing assistant to help manage my growing business. I buy, renovate and design houses in the Hamptons, and then either sell or hold on to them and rent out as Airbnbs. Additionally, I work as an Instagram creator, sharing my projects and the journey (my handle is @via_norfolk on Instagram). The perfect "unicorn" assistant would be someone who loves or wants to learn about home design and/or renovation and/or owning Airbnbs! But, you should also already know about social/digital marketing! I would love to find someone looking for part-time for now, who is interested in growing into full-time or longer-term position. I live in Connecticut with my husband and our 3 kids, but go out to East Hampton (where the majority of our properties are located) about once a week. Required experience: - 1-3 years as a virtual assistant or marketing assistant - Experience with affiliate marketing, generating links, and specific knowledge/experience working on the LTK platform or similar - Pinterest, Instagram, Squarespace, TikTok, Canva, platform experience/comprehension Job expectations: - Weekly or bi-weekly virtual status meetings with Blythe to align on overall priorities - Instagram- daily (within every 24 hours, normally) would need to be following/interacting with the Instagram stories/content created by Blythe, to understand the stories & context of projects, and be able to proactively manage ongoing follow-ups, community conversations, DMs, etc - Independently creating posts and links to share on Pinterest, LTK, and tbd other social platforms (leveraging assets/posts/photos that Blythe provides or creates for Instagram, at least to start) - Maintaining spreadsheets of products for Blythe to review or upload to - Graphic design, including creating moodboards, Instagram reel covers or other assets in Canva, Photoshop, etc - to be used in social, design decks, etc. - Calendar management - updating Blythe's availability in Calendly, potential some calendar maintenance between Blythe's properties in VRBO/Airbnb - Website - maintenance of website in Squarespace - Expense reporting; ie capturing receipts and categorizing, when Blythe sends them, for ongoing expenses related to home renovation and design projects Other possible opportunities / depending on candidate INTEREST and SKILLSET: - Renovation Budgeting/forecasting - Furniture/furnishing sourcing, for the design of the homes - Staging support - on location, at the Hamptons' properties (limited to US, within 3-4 hours of East hampton, NY) - Photoshoots and/or video shoots - on location, in Massachusetts, New York and/or Connecticut, at Blythe's properties - Additional social media or marketing development (Blythe is ex-marketing agency world) This person should be US-based, and generally flexible in terms of responsiveness and when they're available for very quick questions. The expectation is not that they should work early mornings or late nights or weekends. However, ideally they're responsive/available for quick questions within a couple hours, and not offline for a complete weekend, every weekend. General working hours (M-F, 9am - 6pm) for any real working time is fine, but we're also flexible if a different working schedule is preferred! We are looking to interview in February and likely have someone start in March.
