I'm a wildlife filmmaker and underwater photographer currently pursuing a Master’s in Environmental Science and a PhD in Applied Mathematics. I'm looking to grow a personal brand on Instagram that blends cinematic nature storytelling with conservation and science communication. This role is focused specifically on building and managing my Instagram presence from scratch. You’ll be working with high-end video footage (RED cameras, Nikon Z9), underwater content, and science-based storytelling material to help establish a strong, consistent, and compelling visual identity on the platform. Your Responsibilities Will Include: - Helping set up a new Instagram account from the ground up - Creating and executing a content strategy aligned with my brand (wildlife, conservation, science, storytelling) - Selecting and formatting existing assets (videos, photos) for Instagram reels, carousels, and stories - Writing captions that balance emotion, education, and engagement - Suggesting new content ideas or themes based on trending formats and audience engagement - Providing occasional content requests for me to shoot (e.g., a quick BTS clip, vertical video, or talking head piece) - Scheduling and posting content What I’ll Provide: - A library of wildlife and underwater content - I'll work on capturing behind-the-scenes material from fieldwork - Access to scientific research and ongoing projects for educational content - Reference accounts that are similar Ideal Skills & Background: - Experience managing Instagram accounts for personal brands - Comfortable with light video/photo editing or directing asset formatting for reels and carousels - Passion for wildlife, science, or environmental communication is a huge plus - Excellent communication and ability to work collaboratively and independently
