Technical SEO Consultant – Website Speed Optimization (Shopify)

We are looking for a technical SEO expert specializing in Shopify performance optimization to significantly improve our site's mobile and desktop speed scores. Our current SEO team has optimized all they can from their end, but our speed metrics remain suboptimal. We need an experienced consultant who can go beyond standard optimizations and implement advanced technical fixes to achieve perfect PageSpeed Insights scores while maintaining full site functionality. Responsibilities: Conduct a comprehensive speed audit and identify all performance bottlenecks. Provide detailed recommendations and a prioritized action plan for speed improvements. Optimize Core Web Vitals (Largest Contentful Paint, First Input Delay, Cumulative Layout Shift). Reduce render-blocking resources and optimize scripts, styles, and fonts. Improve lazy loading, image compression, and next-gen formats (WebP, AVIF, etc.). Optimize Shopify themes and liquid code for better performance. Minimize third-party app impact (evaluate, remove, or replace with lightweight alternatives). Implement server-side optimizations, caching strategies, and CDN configurations. Ensure all optimizations maintain SEO best practices and full site functionality. Requirements: Proven experience optimizing Shopify stores for speed and technical SEO. Deep knowledge of Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals, and GTmetrix. Experience with Shopify theme optimization, liquid code, and app management. Understanding of JavaScript execution delays, render-blocking resources, and asset optimization. Experience working with Shopify Plus is a plus.
