Social & Digital Media Designer


We’re looking for a talented Graphic Designer who specializes in digital media designs to create engaging assets for organic and paid social media as well as Google campaigns. This part-time role (approximately 30 hours per week) is ideal for a designer who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and understands how to design for different platforms, audiences, and trends. The schedule is deadline oriented with Monday meetings otherwise it’s flexible. You will be working with the team to create innovative, on-brand designs for organic social media, digital ads, websites, and signage. The ideal candidate will have two to three years of work experience producing for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn and is highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop/Creative Suite, Canva, or other video and photo editing software. What You’ll Do • Design high-quality, platform-optimized assets for social media, including static graphics, GIFs, motion graphics, and short-form video. • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to develop visually compelling creatives that align with brand messaging and campaign goals. • Adapt assets for multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc.), ensuring proper sizing, format, and best practices. • Create and edit short-form video content using a mix of footage, animation, typography, and music. • Stay on top of social media design trends to craft innovative and scroll-stopping visuals. • Optimize creatives based on performance insights, iterating designs based on engagement data and ad performance. • Manage and maintain brand consistency across all visual assets while tailoring designs for different audiences and placements. What We’re Looking For • 2+ years of experience in digital design with a strong portfolio of social media assets, including static and motion work. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and Canva • Experience with video editing and motion graphics for social media. • Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media best practices (what works for organic vs. paid, platform-specific considerations, etc.). • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. • Bonus: Experience with AI-driven design tools, 3D design, or interactive media.
