I run a small but quickly growing YouTube channel focused on songwriting education, where I break down music theory concepts, analyze popular songs, and challenge myself with unique songwriting projects. I'm looking to offload some of the video editing work (B roll, royalty-free music, infographics, etc) to an experienced editor. If the work is completed satisfactorily, we can discuss opportunities for consistent editing work. - Must have an editing proficiency that exceeds mine (see above video for reference). - Must be able to reliably complete edits with a maximum turnaround time of 3-4 days. - Please include a portfolio link in your response. - Must be detail-oriented and able to take direction well. (Please include the word "rutabaga" somewhere in your response- this will show that you've read this posting carefully and completely!) - Bonus points if you use DaVinci Resolve (it's the program I use) but not a requirement. - Interest in music/songwriting is a huge plus! - As a huge bonus for consideration: I've linked below a YouTube link to some raw (lightly chopped up) footage for my next video.
