Users run internet speed tests on their phones, which then get uploaded to a real-time map, helping everyone get a clearer picture of true, real world cellular coverage. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated App Developer with expertise and experience in Flutter, Swift, and Kotlin. We currently have an iOS and Android application built using Flutter that we are looking to improve upon. The ideal candidate will have experience working with existing Flutter code bases including cleaning up code, fixing bugs, and adding new features. Key Responsibilities • Develop, test, and deploy mobile applications using Flutter, Swift, and Kotlin on iOS and Android. Maintain and enhance an existing application by adding new features and resolving bugs. • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to create seamless user experiences. • Be able to take ownership of product design, development, and implementation when requirements are more lenient. • Optimize application performance for speed and scalability. • Be able to go out and test performance in real-world scenarios to verify requirements. Requirements • 3+ years of professional experience in mobile application development. • Extensive experience with Flutter for cross-platform development. • Strong proficiency in Swift for iOS development. • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Kotlin for Android development. • Familiarity and experience with WebSockets. • Ability to integrate with existing RESTful APIs and other third-party services. • Experience with mobile app lifecycle, deployment, and app store submission processes. • Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and guidelines for iOS and Android. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Nice-to-Have Skills • Solid understanding of internet speed testing and its importance. • Experience with OAuth authentication. • Experience utilizing Jira for tracking user stories, tasks, and bugs. • Familiarity and experience implementing the latest iOS and Android SDK features.
