Migrate Website & Server from Old Ubuntu Droplet to New Ubuntu 24 LTS Droplet

We are seeking an experienced Linux/Ubuntu system administrator to migrate our existing website and server from an end-of-life Ubuntu version to a new Ubuntu 24 LTS droplet. This involves setting up the new droplet with all necessary services (webserver, databases, PHP, etc.), implementing standard security hardening (Fail2ban, firewalls, secure SSH configuration), copying our entire file system and databases from the old server, and ensuring the site runs exactly as before. After everything is tested on the new droplet, you will update DNS (or otherwise switch over the IP address) so the site points to the new server, verify that SSL certificates and all security configurations are correct, and finally decommission the old server once the migration is confirmed stable. We require someone with proven expertise handling Ubuntu administration, familiarity with LAMP/LEMP stacks (or similar), and strong knowledge of security best practices.
