We're looking for a DevOps engineer to work on a contract basis. Requirements are as follows: Certifications • Cloud platform certifications (e.g., DevOps Engineer, Systems Administrator, or equivalent) • Additional credentials in complementary technologies (e.g., cloud providers, container platforms, orchestration tools) are advantageous ⸻ Professional Experience • 3+ years of experience in infrastructure automation, platform engineering, or related roles • Extensive work with cloud-based environments and services • Proven background in relational database management and deployment workflows • Practical knowledge of implementing continuous integration and delivery pipelines • Strong familiarity with distributed version control systems and structured branching methodologies • Experience in infrastructure provisioning and configuration automation ⸻ Technical Proficiencies • Skilled in infrastructure-as-code frameworks (e.g., declarative templates, provisioning tools) • In-depth understanding of container ecosystems and orchestration platforms • Hands-on experience with automation and CI/CD tools • Solid grasp of networking fundamentals and secure system design • Knowledgeable in observability tooling, including monitoring and logging systems • Proficient in one or more scripting languages for automation tasks • Experience supporting database migration processes ⸻ Preferred Background • Involvement in migrating workloads to cloud-native environments • Understanding of service-oriented or modular application architectures • Exposure to content storage, file sharing, or structured document systems • Familiarity with scalable data storage architectures (e.g., data lakes, warehouses) • Experience supporting regulated industries or mission-critical operations • Awareness of data protection and governance standards • Prior work with APIs, including design, deployment, and lifecycle management NOTE: This is a hybrid role, candidates should be able to work on-site at least twice a month from the Client offices.
